Help Index

CRL (Certificate Revocation List) files show Certificates which have been revoked, and are no longer valid. Each CA issues their own CRLs.

It is VERY IMPORTANT to keep your CRLs up-to-date. You need to obtain the CRL for each CA regularly.

CRL Data
CA Identify The official name of the CA which issued this CRL.
Last Update The date when this CRL was released.
Next Update The date when the next CRL will be released.

Buttons
Add Add a new CRL to the list. The "Upload CRL" screen will be displayed, allowing you to send the CRL file to this device. See below for details.
Delete Delete the selected CRL. Once a new CRL is obtained, the previous (out-of-date) CRL should be deleted.

Upload CRL

After clicking the "Add" button, the Upload CRL screen will be displayed. This screen allows you to upload a CRL file (previously downloaded from the CA) to this device.

To use this screen:

  1. Click the "Browse" button, and locate the CRL file you previously downloaded from a CA.
  2. Select the CRL file. The name will appear in the "File to upload" field.
  3. Click the "Upload" button.
  4. Click "Back" to return to the CRL list. The new CRL will appear in the list.
  5. If you have a previous CRL from the same CA, it should now be deleted.
