This lists the PCs on your LAN.
  • If necessary, you can add PCs manually, using the "PC Database" option on the main menu.
  • For each application listed above, you can choose a destination PC.
  • There is no need to "Save" after each change; you can set the destination PC for each application, then "Save".

DMZ
Enable DMZ
  • The "DMZ" PC will receive all "Unknown" connections and data.
  • If an Internet application does not work, try using the "Special Applications" feature. If it still does not work, then the DMZ feature should be used.
  • The DMZ PC is effectively outside the Firewall, making it more vunerable to attacks. For this reason, you should only enable the DMS feature when required.
  • If DMZ is enabled, you must select the PC to be used as the "DMZ" PC.

Special Applications
Special
Applications
  • Special Applications are any Internet applications which cannot work through the built-in firewall.
  • If an Internet application does not work correctly, you can define it as a "Special Application". Click the "Configure Special Applications" button to open the "Special Applications" screen.
  • Only one (1) user can use a Special Application at any time.
  • If the application still does not work, try using the "DMZ" feature.

URL Filter
URL Filter
  • This feature allows you to block access to Web sites by defining "filter strings". If the "filter string" appears in a requested URL, the request is blocked.
  • Enabling this also affects the Internet "Access Log". If enabled, the "Destination" field in the log will display the URL. Otherwise, it will display the IP Address.
  • Click the "Configure URL Filter" button to enter or change the "filter strings".
