The QoS (Quality of Service) feature allows you specify priorities for different traffic. Lower priority traffic will be slowed down to allow greater throughput or less delay for high priority traffic.
QoS Setting | To disable QoS (Quality of Service), keep the default setting, Disable. To enable QoS (Quality of Service), click Enable. |
Management Type |
Choose either "Rate Control" or "Priority" as managemtne type. |
WAN Setting | Enter the desired value to control WAN throughput. |
Get from WAN | Get the Downstream and Upstream from WAN and set them at the same time. |
Applications | Set priority for widely-used applications such as FTP, HTTP, Telnet, SMTP, POP3, MSN on the table. |
Self-define | Set priority for self-defined applications on specific port ranges. |
Priority | Priority levels from High, Normal to Low. |
Name | Special or self-defined application name. |
