TRENDnet Provides Both the High End and Conventional Line for Wireless LAN!

Torrance, CA – October 25, 2002 – With today’s constantly changing technology, Wireless LAN has become the hottest items to hit the market. TRENDnet, a leading manufacturer of networking products worldwide, keeps up with today’s trend as it recently launched the NEW 300 Series 22Mbps TURBO SPEED Wireless LAN products. The 300 Wireless series deliver 22Mbps throughput with backwards compatibility with the 802.11b 11Mbps standard.

Since the launching three months ago, TRENDnet’s 300 series Wireless products have become very popular, taking over the wireless market. At a very competitive pricing, TRENDnet’s 22Mbps Wireless are as low as their competitors’ 11Mbps, leaving no room in the market for 11Mbps Wireless. With that, TRENDnet will introduce a new line of 11Mbps at 20% lower cost than the 22Mbps. TRENDnet’s previous line of 11Mbps Wireless products (200 series), have been discontinued and will be replaced by a new cost down version, the 220 Series. The 220 Series will consist of three Wireless adapters: TEW-221PC PC Adapter for notebook, TEW-223PI PCI Adapter for Desktop, and TEW-224UB USB Adapter. This NEW version will provide better wireless performance at a 20% lower cost rate than the 22Mbps.

TRENDnet also offers a Wireless Access Point (TEW-310APB) and Wireless Router (TEW-311BRP) to complete your wireless needs. Usage of TRENDnet’s 300 Wireless series combined with TRENDnet’s TEW-310APB or TEW-311BRP will give you the most optimal speed of 22Mbps for your network. Using the TEW-310APB or TEW-311BRP with the 220 series will give your network speeds of 11Mbps. Both series are compatible with TRENDnet’s Access Point and Router.
