That’s 13% more than expected from the year’s forecast for 2003. “It has been a remarkable year,” stated Pei Huang, President of TRENDnet. “We have exceeded our sales and profit goals for 2003 and we are looking at another record year for 2004.”

The success has been the result of a number of expansions throughout the year. TRENDnet added 26 new countries bringing the total to 106 distinct markets where the TRENDnet product line is sold. With that, two additional branches were opened in Taiwan and Germany to contribute to the International growth. On the domestic side, TRENDnet still continues to expand its market sales in the e-tailer/e-commerce sites.

TRENDnet launched over 40 new products in 2003 with a major emphasis on categories such as Wireless, Gigabit, Routers, and KVMs. TRENDnet not only focus on providing high end products to their customers, but also making sure to provide a complete niche solution not found by similar networking companies. A few examples include TRENDnet’s Outdoor Wireless Access Point Router, Wireless Antennas, Fiber Switching family, KVM family and the new line of wired and wireless print servers.

TRENDnet also acquired the trendnet.com domain name, breaking the confusion of TRENDnet the company vs. TRENDnet the product line. With both sites available, trendnet.com and trendnet.com, TRENDnet will cover both ends in providing news and information to their customers.

Looking ahead for 2004, TRENDnet has set its target growth at 35% (sales revenue). With new packaging, sales tools, an increase in staff, and a new location, TRENDnet will continue to introduce new products in record pace. In the first quarter alone, 30 new products will be introduced, including cost down versions of the 802.11b and 802.11g Wireless as well as new Gigabit and Router product lines.
