TRENDnet Partners with Servex to Expand in the Malaysian Market
Torrance, CA – November 3, 2004 - TRENDnet, a leading manufacturer of networking products worldwide conducted two training seminars in Malaysia on September 21 and 22, 2004. The seminars were held in KL and Melaka City of Malaysia with over 100 attendees eager to learn about TRENDnet’s networking product lines. Stefan Throm, International Sales Manager from TRENDnet’s USA headquarters and Linda Tan taking care of Malaysia market from TRENDnet Taipei office were there to support the seminar. TRENDnet presented their Company Profile along with Gigabit, Wireless, KVM and IP Camera product families.
The resellers were especially impressed with TRENDnet’s Internet Wireless Camera Servers and 125Mbps Super G Wireless series. Meanwhile they believe that all of TRENDnet’s line will have a great future ahead in the Malaysian Market. Due to high volume of interest, TRENDnet’s Malaysian Distributor, Servex has already planned advertising programs to promote TRENDnet’s KVM, Print Server, and IP Camera lines.
Top magazine publishing companies such as PC Gamer, PC Home, and PC3 (the first Chinese IT magazine in Malaysia) were very impressed with what TRENDnet product offers. Articles from these magazines will help increase brand awareness of TRENDnet to the public.
There were concerns from the resellers regarding technical support. Malaysia’s market needs more focus on networking technical support. To serve best, Mr Calvin Lee, Servex’s Product Manager, arranged for Servex’s Valued Add Distributor, Convergence Networks Sdn Bhd, to take care of all pre-sale and troubleshooting for TRENDnet.
Mr. GS Lee, Convergence Networks Sdn Bhd’s Sales Manager, assured everyone that he personally and his professional support team would take care of all pre-sale and troubleshooting for TRENDnet. With Convergence Networks Sdn Bhd support, TRENDnet will be in a more competitive position than other brands.
TRENDnet plans on building a closer relationship with Servex and their partners by increasing the efficient communication with Servex Marcom and their sales executives, which will boost TRENDnet customer base in Malaysia.
“We do believe that TRENDnet is a good market for Malaysia and everything is possible,” commented Stefan Throm, TRENDnet International Sales Manager.
