These new switching hubs, both which have eight and ten ports provide our customers with current Fast Ethernet switching technology.

The TE100-S28 is an excellent example of this versatility by providing eight 10Mbps twisted pair ports and two 100Mbps twisted pair ports. The switching hub also provides a store and forward passing scheme that helps eliminate bottlenecks.

Similarly, the TE100-S88 is designed with eight auto sensing 10/100Mbps ports. Through it’s switching technology, the hub provides eight independent segments for 10Mbps and 100Mbps. If network traffic needs to go from one segment to another, the switch automatically forwards it without interfering any other segments. The TE100-S88 provides a smooth transition for changing from a 10Base-T technology to a 100Mbps environment.

Both Switches comply with IEEE 802.3 10Base-T and IEEE 802.3u 100Base-TX standards and are cost effective networking solutions that allow a 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet environment to run smoothly.
