TRENDnet’s 1000BASE-T Industrial SFP RJ45 Copper Module, model TI-MGBRJ, converts a standard SFP port into a gigabit RJ45 port for additional high-speed copper connectivity. This gigabit industrial copper SFP module works with standard SFP ports commonly found in network switches and fiber media converters. The TI-MGBRJ industrial copper SFP is designed to operate within an extreme temperature range of -40° – 85° C (-40° - 185° F) and is well suited for industrial environments. Save on equipment costs by repurposing a switch’s unused SFP port for reliable copper connectivity with TRENDnet’s gigabit industrial copper SFP module.

A network switch is depicted with multiple ports, and a highlighted port is shown with an arrow pointing to it. Below the switch, there is a close-up view of a TRENDnet TEG-MGBSX Mini-GBIC module, which is connected to an Ethernet cable.

RJ45 Copper SFP

Take advantage of unused SFP ports and repurpose them for RJ45 copper gigabit connectivity.

The graphic shows two location markers connected by a dotted line. The distance between the markers is labeled as 100 meters 328 feet.

Gigabit Speeds

The gigabit RJ45 industrial copper SFP spans distances up to 100m (328 ft.) and supports up to 1.25Gbps speeds.

The graphic features a white outlined rectangle in the center. Inside the rectangle, there is a white thermometer icon with a blue fill indicating a certain level. To the right of the thermometer, there are three horizontal white lines. In the top right corner of the rectangle, there is a white checkmark inside a white circle.

Operating Temperature

The industrial copper SFP is designed to operate within an extreme operating temperature range of -40° - 85° C (-40° – 185°F).

This illustration showcases the TRENDnet TEG-MGBRJ SFP to RJ45 copper transceiver, highlighting the SFP MSA compliant label and the RJ45 connector. Two diagrams underneath depict the transceiver connecting to switches, illustrating its application for linking two switches via Ethernet cables.
