TRENDnet expands business and creates new partnerships in the Asian market

Torrance, CA – June 8, 2004 – TRENDnet, a leading manufacturer of networking products worldwide, exhibited its products at Computex Taipei 2004, an International Information Technology Show held from June 1-5, 2004.

TRENDnet was founded in 1990. Through the years, TRENDnet has become a leading networking brand in Europe, Southern America, and the Middle East. Last year, TRENDnet opened its 5th branch office in Taiwan in order to further develop brand equity in the Asian market.

Over 35,000 International buyers attended this IT event, some of which are current TRENDnet customers. One customer from Argentina flew 35 hours to visit the show. TRENDnet met with its customers from South America, United States, Europe, and the Middle East while also collecting many leads from Asian based buyers.

TRENDnet featured many exciting products at Computex, including Copper Gigabit, Wireless LAN (802.11b, 802.11g, and 125Mbps Super G), Fiber Converters and KVM switches. Visitors were very impressed with the quality and design features of the TRENDnet products.

TRENDnet has been very successful in developing the TRENDnet brand and its partnerships in the other countries. Opening a branch in Taiwan and participating at Computex are the first in a series of steps to build the TRENDnet brand in the Asian markets as well.
