TRENDnet’s TEW-T1 d etects 2.4 GHz wireless signals generated from 802.11b/g Wi-Fi device, cordless phone, microwave oven and wireless hidden camera. It helps Wi-Fi users survey the environment and locate the interference easily, without the hassle of powering up their laptop in search of signal strengths. The TEW-T1 will detect multiple devices and then displays the signal strength of the device with the strongest signal. Detection of multiple devices will also indicate possible interference.

The TRENDnet’s TEW-T1 is equipped with diagnostic LEDs to indicate signal strength and display signal source. It o perates at 0.5 seconds for super fast signal detection. It also offers automatic-alert, automatic-silent, and manual scan mode features. It will scan the area for 30 minutes and automatically turns off in automatic scan mode. Depending on the environment, the TEW-T1 can support ranges up to 20-45 meters indoor and 60-90 meters outdoor.
