Hardwareluxx compared the features, specifications, and pricing of unmanaged 16-port Gigabit switches from four major networking brands. All reviewed products were similarly sized desktop switches with metal housings. Switch specifications were also similar between brands. The maximum power consumption of TRENDnet's TEG-S16Dg is only 7.2 Watts—over three times lower than the next most efficient switch it this review, which consumes up to 24 Watts.
