TRENDnet expands its existing line of rugged industrial switches with the addition of two Layer 2 managed industrial switches, the 12-Port Hardened Industrial Gigabit PoE+ Layer 2+ Managed DIN-Rail Switch, model TI-PG1284i, and the 6-Port Hardened Industrial Gigabit PoE+ Layer 2 Managed DIN-Rail Switch, model TI-PG541i.

Each of TRENDnet's hardened Layer 2 switches features a full PoE+ power budget, and dual redundant power inputs and alarm relay output to reduce downtime during power failure. The IP30 rated metal enclosure is designed to withstand a high degree of shock, provide surge protection, and operate in a wide temperature range of about -40 - 167 °F (precise temperature range varies by model).

TRENDnet's 12-Port Hardened Industrial Gigabit PoE+ Layer 2+ Managed DIN-Rail Switch has eight Gigabit PoE+ ports, and four Gigabit SFP slots. L2+ management features include PoE port control, 802.1Q / Q-in-Q VLAN, multicast, spanning tree, link aggregation, QoS, IPv4 / IPv6 static routing, ACLs, and 802.1X which allow for network integration flexibility.

TRENDnet's 6-Port Hardened Industrial Gigabit PoE+ Layer 2 Managed DIN-Rail Switch has four Gigabit PoE+ ports, one Gigabit port, and one Gigabit SFP slot. L2 management features include PoE port control, VLAN, multicast, and QoS.
