TORRANCE, Calif. –May 1, 2008–TRENDnet, a best-in-class networking manufacturer of wired and wireless networking solutions celebrated 35% year-over-year growth at its 2008 European Partner Summit. Partners from 23 countries attended the summit, located at the spectacular Château de Montvillargenne of Chantilly in France, April 21-22 2008. The intensive two day event highlighted new consumer and enterprise networking hardware trends, marketing support tools and sales success case studies.

The summit opened with a key note address from Mr. Pei Huang, the President and CEO TRENDnet. It followed with networking technology training sessions featuring new Dual Band Wireless, Wi Max and IP Camera product prototypes currently under development. Product implementation case studies from Spain, Canada and Portugal as well as marketing best practice learning modules from France, Germany and Russia rounded out the first day’s events. The summit’s second day focused on sales best practices in the United States, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Denmark. A country-based feedback session hosted by Stephanie Xian, TRENDnet’s Director of International Sales, punctuated the events of day 2.

TRENDnet experienced even growth over its 16 product categories. Partners experienced particularly strong market traction for Wireless N technology throughout Europe. Wireless N product sales quadrupled over a one year period. The Wireless N category as a percentage of overall Wireless sales jumped from 7% for Q1 2007 to 26% for Q1 2008. TRENDnet estimates that the Wireless N product category will account for over 50% of total Wireless category sales by Q4 2008.

Another noticed trend was the surge in Internet Security Camera adoption. Year-over-year IP Camera category sales doubled from 2006 to 2007 as TRENDnet continued to maintain a market leadership position. TRENDnet introduced 7 new IP Camera models in 2007 with an additional 8 models scheduled for launch this year. Current IP Camera growth trends are expected to continue past 2010.
