Yes, the TEG-424WS will allow you to back-up your settings to the computer.  To backup settings you will need to access the web interface of the unit and click on System>Backup Setting.  From this page you can either backup the current settings to a file so that you can restore if necessary, or you can restore backup setting from the file you had saved them to.
