TRENDnet Products now Available from Corbina, Leading Russian Internet Service Provider

TORRANCE, Calif. – July 29, 2008–TRENDnet, a best-in-class networking manufacturer of wired and wireless networking solutions today announces the availability of TRENDnet networking products from Corbina Telecom, a leading Russian alternative Internet Service Provider. Phase one of a two phase partnership agreement between TRENDnet and Corbina, signed in June 2008, is now complete. 

Founded in 1995, Corbina is a facilities-based alternative service provider operating in 25 regions in Russia including Moscow. Corbina owns a fiber-optic network which provides fiber-to-the-building (FTTB) broadband Multicast Internet services in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other Russian cities, connecting each apartment building at speeds up to 1Gbps and more. Corbina offers both Internet access and streaming Internet television services and maintains a customer base of over 600,000, with the goal of reaching 11.6 million homes in 24 cities within one year.

Corbina has developed an innovative industry best-practice of offering advanced networking hardware solutions directly to their end users, with the TRENDnet-Corbina partnership as a cornerstone of this strategic directive. Consumers can now purchase TRENDnet Wireless USB Adapter, Hub, Memory Card Reader, Switch and Bluetooth® products at www.corbina.ru.  Listed products include TRENDnet’s 4-Port High Speed USB Hub w/ Power Adapter  (model TU2-400), 4-Port Compact USB Hub (model TU-400E), 108Mbps Wireless Super G USB Adapter  (model TEW-444UB), USB 6-in-1 Memory Card Reader/Writer (model TMR-61U2), 5-Port 10/100Mbps Switch (model TE100-S55Eplus) and the Compact Bluetooth® USB Adapter  (model TBW-105UB).

The second phase of the partnership involves offering TRENDnet routers to Corbina customers. A rigorous router certification process is underway and is scheduled for completion within three months.
