TRENDnet’s SFP Dual Wavelength Single Mode LC Modules are compatible with standard SFP slots found on network switches and fiber converters. Each single mode SFP transceiver is equipped with a simplex LC fiber connection interface, and supports high-speed data rates up to 1.25Gbps. All TRENDnet SFP fiber modules support connections for reliable, long-distance network applications.

Compatibility

Hot-pluggable with an MSA compliant SFP slot, and compatible with fiber cables with LC-type simplex connectors.

A diagram showing the connection setup between network switches and a media converter using SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) modules. On the left, a switch with multiple Ethernet ports has an SFP module labeled TEG-MGBS10D5 connected to it, with a fiber optic cable running to the right. The cable connects to another SFP module labeled TEG-MGBS10D3, inserted into a media converter. The media converter then connects via an Ethernet cable to another switch on the far right. The text in the diagram includes labels for each component and a note stating, Must pair with TEG-MGBS10D3 or other compatible module.
Close-up view of a Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver module. The module is labeled with two annotations. The first annotation points to the connector type, which is an LC Simplex (single strand) connector type. The second annotation indicates that the module is Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) and Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) compliant. The module has a metallic casing with a visible connector port at the front.

Fiber Distance

Ideal for long-range networking distances up to 10km (6.21 mi.)
