TRENDnet's high performance AC1750 Dual Band Wireless Access Point, model TEW-815DAP, supports Access Point (AP), Client, Repeater, Wireless Distribution System (WDS) Bridge, and WDS + AP modes. The TEW-815DAP generates concurrent 1.3 Gbps Wireless AC and 450 Mbps Wireless N networks. Embedded GREENnet technology reduces power consumption by up to 50%.

A wireless access point device labeled TEW-815DAP supports two wireless standards: Wireless AC at 1.3 Gbps and Wireless N at 450 Mbps. Activities like HD 3D movies, gaming, and music use Wireless AC, while surfing, web chat, and email use Wireless N. The back of the device includes a Gigabit Ethernet port and a power button, with a connection diagram showing the device linking to a router, then to the internet.
