A session is a connection from inside LAN to WAN. For example, when you download a driver file from www.trendnet.com, the creates a session. You can download manay files at the same time using the same computer and this creates multiple sessions. So, if there are 10 users on the Router and each user starts 5 download sessions, the total session number on the Router is 50.
