TEW-638APB has an option for Multiple SSIDs, why would I need to use more than one SSID?
FAQ ID: 1695 Product: TEW-638APBUpdated:10/24/2008 10:03:51 AM
The TEW-672GR allows you to create up to three additional virtual SSIDs (Wireless Network Names) to connect with. Multiple Service Set Identifiers (SSID) allow the ability to create virtual wireless networks while only using one wireless Router/Access Point device as the main connecting point. Create different wireless networks using different levels of wireless security.
(Note: Since there is no security by default, it is recommended to setup wireless security for each of the SSIDs that are created).
